Thank you for your interest in supporting IMOW and Every Mother Counts on our Maternal Health Pledge! It's easy to become a Maternal Health Ambassador and help us surpass our goal of 10,000 signatures.

How to Get Involved:

  1. Email us at to let us know you want to be a maternal health ambassador, and we will add you to our Ambassador list. We are also happy to answer any questions you may have!
  2. Print the Signature Form (PDF) and bring it to your classroom, office, or family gathering. Use our "Ambassador Talking Points" sheet to help you start a conversation about the pledge.) Encourage your friends, coworkers, and family to sign! We also created a "Talking Points" (PDF) document that you can use to help start the conversation about maternal health and the pledge.
  3. Mail in your signatures! Send completed signature forms to:
    Global Fund for Women
    800 Market Street, Seventh Floor
    San Francisco, CA 94102, USA
You can also scan and email the signature page to us if you prefer! Email the signatures to
  4. Signatures must be received no later than September 10, 2012 to be included on the pledge.

If you collect 25 signatures or more, you'll get a free IMOW membership, with our e-book included! We will also thank you and list you on the MAMA credits page as a Maternal Health Ambassador.

If you're interested in presenting the pledge in Spanish, French, or Arabic to your community, we have it translated! Email us at and we'll get you set up.

Become an Ambassador today! If everyone who signed the pledge asked three friends to sign it, too, we would meet and exceed our goal and make a powerful statement to the UN General Assembly in September about how important it is for global leaders to prioritize maternal health in their countries.

Together, we can create a movement to prioritize the health of women and mothers worldwide. Thank you for your support!
